Write your awesome label here.
Aesthetic and wellness practices feel like spas, but behind the calm music they handle needles, blood, strong chemicals, and powerful lasers every day. OSHA treats them like any other medical office, and so should you. This course teaches the federal rules in plain language, with a State Lookup in every module, for the whole team: providers, aestheticians, medical assistants, front desk staff, and managers.
Across 4 modules you will:
- Know what OSHA requires of your practice, the rights every team member has, and what to do when an inspector walks in or you need to raise a concern
- Recognize the tasks that involve blood exposure, prevent needlesticks, and carry out the post-stick protocol in the right order: wash, report, get evaluated
- Read chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets, respond to a splash, and match eyewear, smoke control, and protective equipment to lasers and energy devices
- Act in an emergency, protect your body from strain, take threats seriously, and report injuries and near misses so the next one never happens
